Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The exams are difficult because you learn a lot of infromation and detail and only some are covered on the exam. Thus, what helped me a lot was reviewing old exams from many different year. He tends to recycle questions. You can find a lot of old exams here.

    Course highlights:

The class is based on the lecture notes, thus u don't need the textbook. However, going to class helps a lot. because his slides are not detailed sentences. They're just bullet points, so its difficult to get the concept that way. If you're going to be skipping class, maybe the textbook will help.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class and try your best to pay attention! Most importantly go over old exams!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Barry Jesse is a great professor. He is always willing to help. However his voice can be so soothing sometimes that you might feel sleepy or dose off. So make sure you eat breakfast before class and be active in class like taking notes.

    Course highlights:

I learned a whole lot about not all nutrients and vitamins in our food are absorbed by our body. So just because spinach for example has iron, doesn't necessarily means our body will absorb the iron. That was my favorite topic vitamins and minerals!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do all the hw. Or else that would be 10points off from the average grade of your exams. Also I advise that you take notes during every lecture!! You will not get a good grade if you only study off the lecture slides. The lectures slides are structured in such a brief and incoherent way because they are meant to complement his speaking, his lecturing. You can memorize the slides all you want, but that might only give you a C, and if you can somehow make connections out of them, maybe a b minus. Definitely memorize long lists from the slides!
