    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a required for all freshman engineers, but you can either take this course or Chem 161. I would suggest taking this because it's a lot easier than 161 (which i had a friend take the same time). Go to class and recitations and you should be perfectly fine.

    Course highlights:

These are the main topics you will be focusing on: - Nomenclature • Stoichiometry • Reactivity • Gases • Thermochemistry • Our Current Model of Atom • Quantum Mechanics and Atomic Orbitals • Molecular Orbital Theory/Application to Metals • Molecular Shape and VSEPR Theory • Chemical Bonding

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

study and go to class and do the assigned hw problems
