Ron Michaelis is a great professor. He likes to ask questions during class, therefore it is important to read the material beforehand. This motivates you to be prepared for class, which makes understanding the material so much easier.
His powerpoint may be long but they have all of the information you will need to get an A on the exam. He gives homework and provides feedback which is helpful since the open ended questions on the exam are usually based of of them. He is also a funny and nice guy which makes the class enjoyable. His exams are fair. He gives you all the information you need to pass, but it is a lot so do not cram.

Always go to class prepared. Read the powerpoint beforehand so you will understand what is happening during the class and you can ask questions. Also, always do the homework. They are a great study resource to help you prep for the exam.
