    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is an extremely challenging course. I don't NOT recommend it, but I advise that you prepare yourself for the workload you are taking on.

    Course highlights:

I took this course my first semester of college, and it taught me to study as I never had before. The textbook was dense, old, and had 8-pt font. However, this course was invaluable because it taught me to teach myself, and thus I gave myself a solid foundation in Chemistry that I used all throughout undergrad. The highlight for me was lab, because I loved learning that was so hands-on!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Practice, practice, and more practice! Don't succumb to hindsight bias by simply reading the answer to a problem and thinking you know how to work it. Work through things the hard way and you will fare exponentially better.
