Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Nutrition 100 is a class that everyone should take. Whether you are pursuing a career in health or not, knowing how to take care of yourself is super important. They pack in a ton of information in one semester and what you learn lasts a lifetime. I won't use some of the things that I learned in other classes but I will always remember the importance of eating fruits and veggies to get my essential vitamins.

    Course highlights:

You'll learn everything from the ground up like how proteins are made, how to count calories, all the essential vitamins, MyPlate, and even how to calculate BMI and simple choices that you can make to be a healthier person.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! There are in-class quizzes Do the online assignments and read the textbook to better understand but you don't have to read everything. When studying for the exams go over all the practice questions a few times that are online. Lee has some amazing power points too that are fill in the blank to keep you paying attention. Also go to the discussion classes, those participation points really add up.
