    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is challenging, but the professor goes out of his way to make it easy. I learned a lot, and I would definitely recommend it for those interested in physics and applied mathematics.

    Course highlights:

This course covers heat equations, Laplacian equations, and Sturm-Liouville equations, all of which I feel fairly confident about because of the excellent teacher. I also learned how to pace myself well on exams, since the problems are time-consuming.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the homework. The only reason I did well in the class is because I killed myself completing the homework on time each week. It is much easier to restudy material than study everything afresh right before the exam.
