Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The content of the class is moderate in intensity and it was fast paced. It was required for my major but it was interesting to take even if I did not need to have it. If you do not read the book, it will be very difficult to pass.

    Course highlights:

I learned about stoichiometry, which seems like a hard concept to learn at first. But, if you are able to get a good professor, they will be able to explain it in a way that is easy to understand. In high school, I struggled with this very often, but Ms. Bass helped me quite a bit and now I am able to do several problems.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend to read the book and go to the lecture and discussion class. The practice tests she gives will also help tremendously on the exams! Try to also look for a good TA that will be willing to answer questions. Do not be afraid to go to the professor or even tutoring because that helps as well!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is hard because it's chemistry obviously, but Dr. Yang doesn't do anything to help you learn the materials better. Her office hours are useless and her lectures are only good for getting the clicker points that can boost your grade.

    Course highlights:

The course is the next level up from general chemistry for students that aren't in the nursing major. I honestly didn't learn much from her but my T.A. and supplemental instruction classes were what saved my grade.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you go to the SI units and have a good relationship with your TA, because without these two things I might not have passed the course. Also always do the online homework and go to class for the clickers, because that pretty much saved my grade.

    Advice for students:

Study!!!! Go to teacher office hours.
