    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Yes! This is a very challenging course for sure, but Dr. Bartmess's style of teaching, and methods of testing your knowledge made the material stick! It's been 3 semesters since I took his class, and I still have at least one course a semester where I still remember and use the information he taught.

    Course highlights:

From this course I grasped how broad and complex organic reactions actually are. We were able to learn not only products and reactants, the mechanisms. Knowing specifically how and why each reaction occurs is, and will be, extremely helpful for anyone in a health or science related major.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to show up to class, take good notes, and work on learning reactions more than a week before the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really do love UT so much. I've only been here for a month and I really love it. There is so much opportunity and it is a great place to meet people. The academics are great and so are the sports, and people take a lot of pride in their school.

    Course highlights:

This place is really a great place, especially if you get out there and make the best of it! It is a large school and pretty close to the city, so that gives even more opportunities to explore Knoxville. I would recommend this school if you want the full college experience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I love how everyone takes so much pride in this place and it makes us seem like a big family. I go around my original hometown and other Vols will come up to me, and it is an awesome feeling.
