    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Dr. Carcello is such a good professor. He is very intense and tough in class, but it has benefited me in the long run and has helped me stay on top of all my courses. He relates the course material to real-life current events, which helps you connect the material to real-life scenarios.

    Course highlights:

In Accounting 201 you learn the basics of all the accounting principles. In this course, you dive much deeper into these principles. You learn detailed information about the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. You will have done so many of these by the end you could do them in your sleep. Dr. Carcello is a great and experienced professor that really helps you learn the ins and outs of financial reporting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell all students taking this course that you have to stay on top of the work everyday. In order to succeed and keep up in class I read the material every night and did the homework problems that were assigned every night. Some classes you can get by without doing this, but in Dr. Carcello's class this is absolutely necessary to achieve success.
