I enjoyed doing public speaking with professor Meade. When I started the class, I had my fair share of nerves and worries that I would not do well. The setting and instruction that Mr. Meade provided allowed me to feel more comfortable and I performed at a higher level than I thought I would.
Public Speaking 210 is general education requirement for most college students. This course will teach something different for every student, such as improved writing skills or even time management skills as this course requires several hours of work per week. I feel I best improved my ability to manage the anxiety and nerves that public speaking can bring about.

Advice for students:
I would recommend that you spend several hours practicing each speech. The majority of your grade comes from the speech delivery, so it is important that each student spends time learning their speech and how they should deliver it.
