    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The reason I rated this class so low is because of the professor. My professor made the course significantly harder than it should have been. None of the other professors made the course as thorough as she did. I enjoyed the content, but not at the level that she required us to know. Had I taken a different professor, I would have enjoyed the class significantly more.

    Course highlights:

I learned extensively about proteins and how they interact and are integral to cells, and every part of the different cell cycles. I had two different professors for this course, so the highlight was being taught by Dr. Alexandre because she was a great teacher who did not expect more out of us than what should have been.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My biggest advice for this course is to make sure you don't get Dr. Shpak. Other than that, make flash cards. A large portion of the information you have to know is memorization, so flashcards are very helpful. You will not be able to learn all the information you need for the test the night before so don't even try and do it because it isn't possible.
