    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it allows one to understand the basics of chemistry before organic chemistry as well as allow an individual the opportunity to complete his/her laboratory hour requirements.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was that the lab and the lecture class went hand in hand. Each lab corresponded with the topic during lecture and it helped to give visual representation of the various elements and their chemical properties. I learned that the structure of an element determined the chemical properties including how the element would react to another element based on the amount of valence electrons and the electronegativity that corresponds with the energy pull of an element.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would give the advice to study early and thoroughly go through the homework. The homework and quizzes are models for the exams. Always attend lecture and feel free to email your TA with questions from lecture if you don't have class with the TA soon. Use all the resources that are provided such as SI and the tutorial center. They are extremely helpful in putting the information in an alternative way.
