    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was taken as a random elective but turned out to be my favorite! The professor has done extensive research on this period, and is very knowledgeable. This adds a lot the the course content. She was very reasonable in assigning work. She was also always available to meet outside class for help on assignments or questions.

    Course highlights:

We covered a large period of time during this course, but it was all relevant. For me, learning about Medieval Popes and tactics used during the Crusades were my favorite topics. You have to write three short essays for this course, but Dr. Whitnah's help during office hours made it very manageable, and greatly improved my essay-writing skills!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class, take notes, do the readings, and go to office hours.
