    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course will really put your programming skills to the test and pass on to you some of the most important concepts of object-oriented programming. Though it is a required course for Computer Science majors, any engineering major could benefit from the problem-solving skills enforced in this course.

    Course highlights:

Learning how to layout and tackle programming problems was perhaps the most important skill I picked up from this course. Dr. Plank is extremely knowledgeable and also an amusing instructor.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask questions, do not start on programming assignments the day they are due, and abuse the office hours offered by the teaching assistants. They are there to help you.
