Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My instructor was very hands on and she gave practice guides and materials in order to help with student success. She put everything out there for us, but it was up to us to use them to our advantage.

    Course highlights:

Most of all I learned to take advantage of the resources that my teacher provided for me. She gave in-class handouts, posted practice problems on blackboard, and she also was took her time in explanations. Every student's question were answered and she never rushed us.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, take notes, and use the guides to your advantage.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although Professor Long had a deep understanding of the material he covered in class, he was unable to communicate very well with the make up of his class, a group of students mainly taking the class to get a GE requirement, not for the love of math. If you study hard, go to tutoring, and do well on the homework, expect a B.

    Course highlights:

The main thing I took away from this course was how to find the missing digit on a 12 digit bar code, which is something i will never apply in real life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to tutoring, office hours and do the homework carefully
