    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Crockett is one of the best professors I have ever had. She goes over the lab with you before you begin--gives detailed instructions, answers any questions you may have. Also, if you are having problems, she has flexible office hours and replies to emails nearly immediately. She makes learning to program easier and a lot more fun.

    Course highlights:

Mrs. Crockett, obviously, and the fun purposes of the lab. For instance, we had a few labs based off of Harry Potter, which made them more interesting. I learned the basics of software programming and how to make it my own.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to do some work outside of class, but not too much. You get lots of time to work on the program, and can refer to your notes as needed. No matter how much you think you know about programming, you will definitely learn something new, and it will make you a better programmer.
