Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Jackson really knows how to engage his students and uses appropriate technique to help his students understand the material. He is very concerned when it comes to his students passing his class.

    Course highlights:

It is a Bible class, and I learned that there is more to the Bible than just reading the text. Interpretation is a big deal. The professor uses movies and other resources to draw a better understanding what he is teaching for those who have a harder time understanding the main points.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read a lot if you plan to get an A in the class. There will be weekly assignments that count a lot towards your grade. Exams come directly from his powerpoints. So, memorize every single slide!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it to my fellow peers. He is a great teaching teaching one of my favorite subjects. My only issue was my first paper, but I seen my errors and that I needed to loosen up an bit. Everything about it I just enjoyed!

    Course highlights:

I really like learning the different Hebrew words. I didn't know any Hebrew until I was in his course and as me deciding if I would attempt to take that course. Of course I love that fact we prayed before each class. Being a Christian school not many professors did that and I enjoyed that.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't slack, your grades will not me handed out on a silver platter. Also I would recommend taking many notes. They will be on blackboard, but it's a lot easier for you to have your own copy than to go through each slide.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Burke is very knowledgeable and is very real. She helps you to apply biblical principles to your life. I like that!!

    Course highlights:

Learned how to read and study the bible with context in mind. Not to just take a verse and use it from a 2015 , Americanized-Christian perspective. She taught me some strategies on how to get more understanding of the scriptures as they apply to my life and my faith.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Have a genuine desire to dig and explore a variety of tools available to study and understand the scriptures.
