    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was difficult because there was not a specific break down of what reading was required when and some days it was hard to tell where we were in the material and what we were talking about. The Professor mainly told stories and gave examples, and didn't always break down the course material very well. There was not a lot of structure.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about psychological disorders like anxiety, depression, dissociative identity disorder, OCD, PTSD, and anti-social disorders. The class was mostly discussion based and was very conversational rather than lecture-like. This was great at times, but made tests kind of hard because it wasn't always clear what to study.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading. Even though it's not specifically listed what to read when, break it down and read it if you want to do well on tests. In order to take away some knowledge about Psychology, it would be best to be present in class discussions and participate and ask plenty of questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I believe that taking this 3 hour class, not only allows you to dive into the world of others, It gives you the opportunity to learn about yourself & how others may be interpreting you by your actions and Words.

    Course highlights:

At the moment we are just getting acclimated to the course, but the involvement that the class has to control how we spend the 3 hours is very interactive.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely make the extra effort to try and get to know the professor & establish a connection to them. Try to sit in the front of the class & Take quality notes for the majority will be verbatim on a quiz or test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Pruitt really knows what he is teaching, and in his class he made difficult concepts seem easier. In his classroom, discussion is open and comfortable.

    Course highlights:

I left the class with a better knowledge of how human nature and the brain works, as well as how certain factors affect our brain's functioning.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book and class material outside of class so that class discussion runs more smoothly.
