    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is extremely hard but Dr. Morgan made it a ton easier with his attentiveness to all students and made us participate which helped in the long run even if you do not like to speaking in class. He also did much to help and understand that the class is very time consuming and understood when students would get behind on work as long as they communicated and made the effort.

    Course highlights:

I finally understood how to analyse data. It is not intuitive and was difficult for me to fully grasp and with being allowed to conduct my own research that I was interested in helped make the material easier to interpret and to keep my attention.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

To always set aside time to work on the material and to do all the labs and rework them before exams.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is required under the department of psychology but it was a very interesting course that got you started in the research world. This course was very time consuming and difficult at times but it definitely helped with the second research and stats class as well as other upper divisional psychology courses.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to conduct research and statistics. Also learned how to read different forms of research. Participated in conducting own research from a duplication of a past study. Worked with a group on this research as well as learned how to write up your research into a manuscript and how to present and understand your findings.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

For this class, it is so much material and constantly being quizzed and tested on what you have learned that missing a class is unthinkable. The course is very fast paced to fit all of the material. Do as much practice as possible and do all homework or incomplete work from class. Do not be afraid to ask questions if you missed or do not understand something. Take advantage of the office hours of your professor.
