    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Beavers is one of the most difficult professors in the English department. He makes you work hard for an A, but his classes and teaching style are very enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

My professor met one-on-one with us all at the campus coffee shop. This gave him the opportunity to get to know each of his students on a personal level. I learned so much info about writing and communicating in this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Put your best into every essay! There are only four so every point counts.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

ENG 111 was overall an excellent class. I was challenged but also provided with the resources needed to succeed. Professor White was such a great teacher. She truly cared about my success in her class and with my writing skills in general. I finished this course as a much more confident writer and student in general.

    Course highlights:

I learned more than I ever have about writing papers and being an efficient writer.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate. Writing papers is an art that takes time to perfect. Just like any other skill, you must practice to improve. Do not get discouraged if it is more difficult at first because it does become easier.
