Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course takes you right through the process of using different programs you will use in the animation industry.

    Course highlights:

I learned quite a bit about how to use Photoshop. One of the major things was how to use Alpha Channels-- you can easily edit an image to your desire without destroying the original. This comes in very handy if you make a mistake and would like to start over from scratch.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go over the module information carefully. If you skip through it, you may miss something important for completing the assignment.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was a great introductory course into photoshop and after effects. There were also some introductions into different disciplines in the industry that will help you make an educated decision when choosing a career.

    Course highlights:

I learned that photoshop layers can be imported into after effects. He also posted videos in the module to follow along to as you're doing your assignments. It really made it easy to grasp the concept that he was trying to explain in the reading, especially when your new to a program.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take the summer course be prepared for modules to be 3-4 days rather than a week. As long as you stay up to date with modules you'll do fine. Also, discussions boards are 30% of your grade, so post and comment.
