    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course as an opportunity to prepare for the job application and internship process within one's own major. And if you are already working in your industry, the class will help you refine your cover letter, resume, and networking skills.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to properly format a resume and cover letter, what looks good on a business card/leave behind, and how to set career goals.

    Advice for students:

    You can't afford to miss any classes or assignments. Be patient and give yourself time to rehearse the presentation for the project collaboration final assignment.

    This course is designed for artists to learn U. S. laws in relation to art and expression and the business aspects of industry so that they are prepared to enter the "real world." It is eye-opening for any aspiring entrepreneurs and serious, career-oriented students.

    The highlights of this course are the lessons on slander and libel as they are most applicable to an artist's success.
