    Course Overview:

Statistics is a useful subject for almost every career and educational pathway. You will need this course to conduct research of any kind, and it is imperative to have a background in Economic Statistics to succeed in the often math-heavy economics program at Vanderbilt.

    Course highlights:

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you are proficient in using Microsoft Excel. This course requires you to conduct statistical equations using technological platforms. I advise that you take a course on Excel before entering this course if you do not feel comfortable using the application in a time-restricted exam.
