Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was by far one of the most interesting courses I've ever taken. I learned so much more than I had previously known going into this class. Weintraub is so knowledgable and clearly has been studying this field much longer than any of us have been alive. He wrote the course textbook so he knows the material inside and out.

    Course highlights:

I now understand the universe to a certain degree and can explain the Big Bang, the shape of the universe, dimensions, and universe expansion. The lab was also fascinating because we learned completely different concepts there, and were able to see some of it in action during telescope labs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You must do the readings and the practice problems if you want to do well on the tests. The concepts are usually well-explained in the book, but if you need further explanation, he is very helpful during office hours.
