Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Most students take this course because it is required, but if you genuinely enjoy the subject, and listen to the extras and details in class, you will realize how amazing the subject of chemistry truly is. Tips: go to class, print out the notes before the lectures, and do the assignments beforehand so you have time to ask questions if needed.

    Course highlights:

It was a great intro into the subject of chemistry, even if you don't feel like you are learning much, by the end of the course you will realize how much you actually know. Easy transition into second semester.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Tip: go to office hours a week before the test and review everything you are unsure of, study as hard as you can for the first test so you won't have to play catch up with your grade all semester.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a fundamental class for those who are studying the sciences in college and who are Pre-Med. It will set the standard for the rest of your scientific studies, and if you do well in this class, the future should bode well for you.

    Course highlights:

The demonstrations were my favorite part. They apply the often uninteresting parts of chemistry into real world use, making for entertainment in class as well as a better understanding of the material.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

As this course is a requirement for almost all who take it, just do not cram. Take the course as it is given to you. By that, I mean go to class every day, and when there is some concept the professor teaches you do not understand, be sure to ask the professor questions after class or in office hours, or brush up on the material before the next class to make sure you do not fall behind.
