    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course pushed me to think outside of the typical western mindset when it comes to medicine, rituals and beliefs. Beth really examines how our predispositions are formed and asks us to challenge our own biases based on the society in which we were raised. If you are looking to explore a new way of though or just curious what promotes beliefs of certain cultures or tribes this is the class for you

    Course highlights:

The required readings surprised me. I did not think i would like them but they were fantastic as were the in class videos that demonstrated some of the topics that we read about

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

All papers should be written with an open mind. If you come at this class like a scientist or from a purely logical point of view you will not do well
