Not too easy. Not too difficult.
This was a fun and exciting class. The professor took a different approach to teaching where we had to study and analyze a bunch of case studies and develop creative solutions for them. We had fun activities, all of which tied back into the main concepts we were learning in class. Also, we had quizzes once a week and no traditional exams, which I felt was a great plan.
I learned strategic factors affecting various types of companies across the different organizational types, e.g for-profit, non-profits etc. We talked about business level strategies, competitive strategies, sustainability, ethical decision making, to mention a few. At the end of the semester, we had to write a business plan for a real company, which was an excellent way to integrate and apply the topics we had learned throughout the course of the semester.

Advice for students:
Pay attention in class not just for the quizzes, but because it's interesting subject matter. Also study the cases ahead of class in preparation for the quizzes, because they are key to passing the quizzes. Also, collaborate well with your group members by communicating frequently and staying up to task.
