Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this course to any and everyone. Truly a course for everyone. His teaching style is incredible, the work is not too difficult, and he incorporates modern technology and popculture into his lectures which creates a fun atmosphere.

    Course highlights:

Professor Beck covered so many topics from love and intimacy to mental illness and everything in between. His background in mental health institutions and counseling centers added a depth to the course. He would incorporate real world stories, sometimes serious, yet most of the time hilarious to really bring the course material to life. Further, he most often incorporated media and technology through video clips and documentaries that were quite interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to learn at a fast paced speed. This course is a general overview of the study of Psychology so there is much to cover. If you stay engaged in the lectures you will do well. Most of the quizzes and tests are taken from his exact words on the powerpoint and the vocabulary in the textbook. This course isn't hard unless you don't pay attention.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a very easy class to make an A in and you get to learn about Dr. Becks life outside of the university. The class is engaging and fun, so you wont get bored.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of taking this course is Dr. Beck relates almost all of his lectures to real life situations. It helps you understand more about what he is teaching and makes it easier to understand

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and ask him questions. Make note cards during class for each slide in the power point and that would help you study. A week before the test go over the note cards and you will be good in the test.
