    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Davies has a way of explaining math in a way that you truly understand, not memorize. She cares deeply about her students and their success, and makes sure everyone is on the same page. It was a great course, I walked out very confident in my math knowledge.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me were proving identities and using identities to manipulate and solve word problems. I really enjoyed the challenge each on of these brought.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You have to commit to studying often, there is no other way to pass. You must commit to showing up everyday and be prepared for quizzes at the beginning of class and lots of homework. It is also extremely important all work shown is clear and in order, and that every step no matter how obvious is shown, otherwise, its all wrong. This class is a redesign that includes some differential equations to prepare you for upper-level math, its not your basic trig course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a dual credit class where I learned so much. Now I don't have to take this one in college either, so it was a double score.

    Course highlights:

I learned to study was the main thing. I had never had to study before; school came easy, but with this class I had to figure out how to study and manage my time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to use your time wisely.
