    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor can be controversial at times, but overall, the course is fairly easy and educational.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to more effectively write a paper, and stick to the point I am trying to make.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to listen in class, because the professor may mention something about an assignment that is not mentioned in the syllabus.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend because this is the class where I improved my writing skills. I had written good essays before, but in this class, I got more experience to write essays and good feedback that put me the boost I needed to be on a more competitive level.

    Course highlights:

I learned more advanced skills involved in writing a paper, improved my grammar skills through the challenging tests we took, and gained a few critical thinking skills as well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest that other students study grammar rules to prepare themselves for test, prepare essays in advance so that there is enough time to think critically about what they should say in the essay, get feedback on their writing so they can find out what they need to improve on, and choose topics they have a good background knowledge of. Before taking this course, it would be a good idea to have a good background in essay writing from their high school english class.
