    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because you learn how to write thorough, descriptive, persuasive essays and you use critical thinking in order to answer some controversial questions.

    Course highlights:

From this course I learned to not ignore what's going on in the world around me and to really think of my future and how different the world may be in the future and I learned to break down an effective, persuasive essay.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class you must visit the professor in her office hours! Take advantage of her office hours because she is there to help you! She reviewed all of my essays before the due date and gave me suggestions of things I should add or take out of my essay or how I could make my essay better and "A" material. Make sure to also do all of the reading assignments and journal writings.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course not only helps you hone your writing and reading skills, but it also gives you the ability to construct a well formed essay, as well perfecting you sentencing and grammar skills. All skills that are needed for future purposes.

    Course highlights:

The overall enthusiasm and communication the instructor delivered to the class helped immensely. Motivating the class to engage, contribute, and participate in all of the lectures.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention, participate, take notes, and ask questions if you are struggling in a certain area. English and Language Arts may sound like a simple subject to take, but it is quite challenging.
