    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Scarffe took a subject that is required and made it interesting. Most students don't take it because they want to, but despite that, I found the class very interesting and timely. I learned a lot, and Professor Scarffe was very knowledgeable.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about how the government works. The highlights were covering how elections function, especially since the 2016 presidential election occurred during this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep on top of all blackboard reading assignments and keep up with studying units and schedules as you can so exam studying isn't as intense. Also start the portfolio assignment asap. Participate in class as much as possible for extra credit.
