    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a fast paced course that has a LOT of studying involved in the normal semester, so a shorted summer semester makes it even more work.

    Course highlights:

Mrs. Mullen is an amazing teacher and you will learn a lot from her. But summer course is hard and fast, so if you're not good at spelling, try later, if you have a job over the summer, try later, if you're taking another harder class over the summer, try later. You will learn it, but not by the time her tests come around.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY from day one! You need to have a good study system down and find a good study group to help! You should also study at least 3 times a week with the group and everyday on your own.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this class because although Ms. Fox is a great person, she isnt the best of teachers because she gets off topic way too much. Although what she talks about off topic is interesting it isn't very helpful to the subject we are learning.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights to this course would have to be really getting to know the human body and how it works. One of my favorite parts was the brain section because there is so much that goes through your brain in order for your entire body to function. It amazes me how one little injury to a certain part of your brain can change your life drastically.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course you must study! You must make flash cards, study guides, and take plenty of notes. I highly recommend going in for study hours and take advantage of all the time you can.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is a requirement for my field of healthcare, and for many others who want to pursue a career in medicine, emergency medical services, etc. Even if you are not someone looking to enter the healthcare field, I think this is an excellent course for anyone to take, as it allows individuals to learn about all things related to the human body. I am a strong believer that when people become more educated about their bodies, they are more likely to take care of it!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this class was definitely passing! I learned a lot of information that translated into some of my other courses, as well as my student internships for the field of athletic training which was extremely helpful. I am very thankful for this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not neglect the homework, always form study groups, and build a healthy relationship with your instructor.
