    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course offers a comprehensive history of our nation, from the Civil War to present day. I believe it's important to know your nation's history so you can understand what shaped it into the nation you know today.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed that Dr. SoRelle assigns historical novels rather than textbook-style readings. He gives you the textbook knowledge in class, and lets you read at home about a specific point or person or event in order to let you get a real understanding of the time period.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read! He gives you anything you need to know to pass the exams in class, but every book he assigns will have a quiz. If you read the book and can answer the reading questions he gives, you'll pass every quiz easily.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is excellent. This class is amazing. The overall topic for this class is about the American dream and Dr. Coffman shows us the American dream from different perspectives. The class is really interesting and it tells me a lot knowledge that I never heard before.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Coffman gave us more opportunities to access to the primary source. We looked through the old university newspaper to find out the history facts by ourselves. I also learnt how to write a history paper.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The class preparation is really important. You need to read the material before the class. The professor will talk the material in class. If you did not read them before you will get lost.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I personally loved this class. It was fascinating and very well taught. I would recommend this to anyone I know.

    Course highlights:

This class was so interesting, I enjoyed every moment of it. History became something interesting and relatable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay close attention in class. Be respectful of her time. Take very detailed notes in class. It helps so you don't have to study much later. The tests weren't too hard.
