Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is thorough yet understandable. It requires a hefty amount of outside reading, but the insights gained from all the assignments is well worth the extra work.

    Course highlights:

Dr. SoRelle gives a thorough look at the time period, and acknowledges that there is not just "one" history. He assigns outside reading to give a more in-depth understanding of the periods from a specific perspective that allows for understanding beyond the overarching facts of the period.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to keep up with reading assignments! Don't rely on online sources such as Spark Notes - Dr. SoRelle knows these books well and will recognize it if you spout someone else's appraisal of the book instead of reading it and forming your own opinion.
