Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Macaulay is an amazing instructor. She genuinely cares about her students and is very understanding if health issues prevent attendance. I had several health issues while taking this course and after visiting her during her office hours she emailed me the presentation for the next few classes so that I could get the notes.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the four disciplines of anthropology. Sociocultural anthropology is the study of human society and culture. Archaelogical anthropology reconstructs human behavior and cultural patterns through material remains. Biological, or physical, anthropology is the study of human biological diversity through time. Linguistic anthropology is the study of languages through time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take lots of notes. Meet with the professor during office hours. Set up a study group with your classmates.
