    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very challenging and has taught me to make time outside of class reviewing my lecture notes and connecting them with readings we have assigned for homework.

    Course highlights:

Being in a large class lecture (over 100 people) is a bit distracting at times but it has taught me to be prepared before class by doing my assignments as well as immediately making flashcards afterwards that highlight what the lecture was about so I can study from them to retain the information.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Since this class is based around the Bible, do not be intimidated if you do not know information before going into the class. You do not have to know the stories by heart or be religious for that matter and along the way, you will learn the information if you piece it all together little by little at a time because making connections will help you develop understanding of the readings and will help you be prepared for tests.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was too much work for a requirement to graduate. The material was interesting but I spent way more time and energy for this course than I thought was reasonable.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about Christian dogma which has really helped me throughout life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do well on the papers and you will be just fine.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I learned so much from it! I hardly knew anything about the Bible before, and after this course I was able to tutor other students in it.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the Bible, and different ways it is interpreted. We went deeper than just what was happening in the stories, and I truly feel like I gained a deeper meaning of religion.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to definitely do the assigned reading. If you are stuck or not understanding the reading, use the internet and other resources to make sure you understand it!
