    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Whitaker set up a friendly environment and pushed students to do there best. He made it very clear to his students that if help was needed feel free to ask before, during, and after class. The course work required lots of time and Mr. Whitaker expected it all to be done he expected nothing less then the best out of his students.

    Course highlights:

In principles of accounting students were taught about credits and debits and what expenses would fall under each category. students were also expected to learn the four kinds of financial statements which were balance sheet, income statement, statement of owners equity, and statements of cash flow. The course also wanted the student to be able to find mistakes in each statement and place the statement in the correct category or rename the title correctly.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not give up if you have questions ask Mr. Whitaker or other students taking the course because chances are that if you do not get it there is another student out there having the same problem you are. Try forming a study group and look at the work together this will help make sure you guys are all on the same page and understand what you are doing.
