Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was very informative and fun! Professor Laughlin enjoys teaching, which results in a successful class for students. The information is taught for a student to not just memorize, but to LEARN. I recommend every student at Blinn College to take U.S. History with Professor Laughlin.

    Course highlights:

I was able to learn and be educated in this course rather than just memorize the information. I learned what our Country encompassed from the early 1800's, to late 1900's. This course made me appreciate our country and who has fought to keep it safe.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be on top of your studies. As long as you doo each quiz, and study the lecture notes for each exam, you will pass the course.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course. Professor Johnson is an interesting teacher and provides numerous opportunities for extra credit for those students who struggle with history. Sometimes he gets side-tracked, but his stories are always interesting.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed how he would make obvious, yet profound observations. One interesting fact I learned was that Mao Tse Tung is responsible for about 50 million more genocide deaths than Hitler, and America chose to trade with the country Mao founded, after warring against Hitler.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Please do the extra credit if you fall behind. It is worth the time and effort. Also, fill out his test study sheet, he pulls his test questions exactly form the facts in study sheet.

Prof Haussman is AMAZING and will talk your ear off about history because he is so passionate about it! which makes learning it so much easier!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were getting to listen to Haussmans jokes and under the breath comments while he teaches history!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen and TAKE NOTES in all of his lectures! and miss as little class as possible because he does not teach from the book,
