Great Intro to the Subject
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I absolutely loved this professor. She was always availible to answer any questions and pushed me to succeed. If she did not know the answer to a question she always looked it up and got back to me to ensure that I did my best in the course.
Course highlights:
I learned the basics of chemistry. This professor helped futher my knowledge of thermochemistry and helped me learn the formulas where I had failed before.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Just pay attention in class and learn the formulas. The homework is a huge help and always helped me prepare for a test better than the reviews did. Ask questions if you need to.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
This course is hard, which is to be expected. However, I had an extremely difficult time because our professor was brand new to Blinn and I found his teaching techniques were not at all helpful. I left every lecture more confused, and basically had to teach myself the course. I was a straight A student until this class, where I got my first B.
Course highlights:
I learned the math part of it pretty well. On exams, I usually did very well on the math. However, the conceptual problems always stumped me, because the lectures confused me so much. But with the math parts, I could memorize how to do different types of problems and I almost always did very well on those sections.
Hours per week:
12+ hours
Advice for students:
I would advise taking a different professor.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Try your best and you will succeed!
