Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Van Meter teaches in such a way that causes the material to be more engaging. He is obviously passionate about what he does, and that excitement easily flows over into his students. I enjoyed English 1302 much better than English 1301 because we got to talk about literature rather than real events, and I've always loved works of fiction.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about how to make an argument, and I also learned more about how to analyze works of fiction in order to find an argument to make. You have to write pretty much every day, which is actually a good thing because it's an excellent way to practice and improve your writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn how to properly cite other people's works, and also learn how to use proper grammar and punctuation. Professor Van Meter is very lenient on the content grade (what you're writing about), but he's not so lenient on the form grade (technical errors). As long as you use proper grammar and punctuation, and as long as you cite well, you'll get a much better grade.
