    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course and this Professor because it is self paced and it has given me the opportunity to learn many things I did not know. Some things I feel as though I should have known being that I am a parent. It has so far given me the ability to better understand my young children because the class has many topics on children, from infancy to dealing with learning disabilities and ADHD. The Professor doesn't give you too much of a work load which is amazing. I have 1 class participation topic, 1 discussion point and one quiz a week. I find this to be really a manageable amount of work unlike another class I took where the teacher pushed way to much work each week and I found myself always having to play catch up. Dr. Stiles did not have me feeling that way in the least. He answered any questions promptly that I emailed about.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this class were the final project. I was required to make a time line of significant events in my life along with a autobiography. I personally enjoy writing so this was really a highlight in my book. I learned about how the significant events played huge roles in my developing personality and that no persons' personality is fully formed and complete until the day that they die. This class was really a joy to take.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do it! It is usually a requirement in most degree plans and if you are able to get Stiles as your professor it will not be a difficult high pressured class. Take it in summer and it is self paced and only 6 weeks long! Cant really beat that!
