The fashion in which the teacher taught was the highlight of this course. I learned a lot of information about American History and that it isn't boring if the right person is teaching it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Karppi was a great professor to learn from! History is not always the easiest subject to sit through and listen to. But Karppi does try to make the lecture funny and interesting. He has study guides for all his Exams and are fairly easy.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to better use the resources at my college. We have an essay as the midterm of the course, and he wanted us to use creditable sources. It was my first semester in college and I knew google wouldn't give me creditable sources. He showed us how to use the library to find sources that were academically acceptable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You never fail, if you never try. This course is a great beginners course to start off with. There is some challenge in the course. But it's not to difficult to juggle with all of the other classes on your schedule.
