Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was no trouble at all to stay on top of coursework and essays. Professor Torres always responded to any emails within 24 hours. It is recommended if you are trying to earn your English credit! If you can write essays well, or put together power points, then this is definitely right up your alley! And it scores you the grade, too!

    Course highlights:

I most definitely learned how to put together a proper power point! I had not had much experience prior to this class, and thankfully, Professor Torres understood my struggle and helped me out tremendously. Essays on the other hand are definitely my thing. I love to write, so they came a little more naturally for me!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to stay on top of assignments. ALWAYS TURN IN THE HOMEWORK. I can't stress that enough. Even if you think you're going to get a rotten grade, turn it in! That D- is better than an F! Always turn in your assignments on time- it actually makes the rest of the course that much easier and less stressful! And come on, you're in college, that's stressful enough. Lighten your load a little with staying on top of your deadlines. It makes everything else run that much smoother.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor of this course has a passion for writing just like the students. If you enjoy reading and writing this is the course for you. Whether you need to get your English credit taken care of or maybe you just need an elective. This is the course that I would recommend because the professor works with the schedule to accommodate the students and she is also available for questions anytime you may need some extra help.

    Course highlights:

The things you gain from this course are far too many to put in this space. The best thing I think that I learned from this course was how to effectively write an academic essay. Before this course, every essay I wrote had a personal opinion about it, which you may know is a no-no when writing an academic essay. In this course, the professor provided feedback to edit and revise our essays to take out the personal aspects and create an academic paper.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you have to stay motivated. It is a ton of writing and if that is something you do not enjoy doing then it may seem like a daunting task. Though my word of advice is, don't procrastinate, especially if you hate writing. Get it over with in the first few days of receiving the assignment so that you can do other things after.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Spetter is a Fantastic teacher! She is easy to work with and helps students when they need it which is very important! Also she makes her assignments very clear to understand.

    Course highlights:

All the pieces to a good written paper. Grammar punctuation and arguments.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you turn in papers on time and if you fail them ask how to fix it she will sit with you and show you what to do to fix it and if your as lucky as I, she may make your grade a little higher than what you made the first time.
