    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course was very interesting. We went through the history of the United States up until 1877 in a easy and understandable manner. We would take notes in class, tests at home and were able to ask questions any time we had them.

    Course highlights:

I gained a great knowledge of the United States and the events that happened to shape the country, as well as the influential presidents. The biggest highlight was the professor. Mrs. Ovesny is an amazing professor. She answers any questions you have in a way that is easy to understand and never makes you feel like you are stupid. The best part of the course was that we were able to take our tests at home and at our own pace. We had three major tests throughout the semester, and if you did good on all three she would take the lowest grade of the three and you can use that as you final grade, which was awesome.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study your maps. We label maps in class before our test days for a part of the test grade so it is vital to study the maps she gives you at the beginning of the semester.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class because i got to learn so much about the history of making the US! The teacher was awesome and explained things in great parallels. He went out of his way to make sure we understood the criteria. I highly recommend this course.

    Course highlights:

I learned a wide variety of information about US. The highlight was the research paper, we got to pick the topic and it was really interesting learning about the specific topic.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take notes and listen carefully! Read the textbook for extra credit when you can.
