    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Sean Skipworth was a great teacher. He is straight forward with assignments and had every planned out to the T. Our final and mid-term were somewhat difficult but they were not written tests. They were oral. He posted 4 short answer questions on black board, which is our a website where the Professors post announcements and students submit assignments. We had to prepare ourselves with the answers. He would pick a question at random and that was the one we would speak on. It would have been a lot more terrifying if we had to speak in front of the class, but it was just in front of him.

    Course highlights:

Each week we had a reaction paper due over a certain present topic or issue in the government. Every Sunday it was due online. The following class day we would have a discussion over that. Professor Skipworth was big on participation, so the students really had to learn how to be comfortable with their own opinions to do well. During discussions, sometimes he would show his opinions through sarcasm which made many laugh. I learned so many new things about the Government and Legislative organization.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to stay disciplined, committed, and to voice your opinion in discussions because you do have a small essay due each week.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although I learned a lot from this course, I did not find my professor to be very knowledgable on the subject of government. Most of our coursework was completed in a textbook. The professor did not lecture and students had to learn straight from the book.

    Course highlights:

In this class, I learned a plethora of information on the basis of American Government. From the constitutional convention to the presidential term of Barack Obama, I learned how our country came to be and who brought us to where we are today.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class, students must be self-motivated and willing to read out of the book. Without the ability to read out of the book, one might find this class overly difficult.
