Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I was required to take this course for my degree plan, but researched professors before I registered for this course. I had seen great notes on Jumper, and took the chance to take her class over the summer. It was MW, but all summer long. I was first hesitant because I wanted to power through math, but I actually felt I learned things I use in my every day life through the class.

    Course highlights:

I am not all that great with math. Jumper thoroughly explained things and color coded items when going through math problems. I would come early before class started to have her answer any questions I was not too sure on. She never made me feel incompetent, and that was an issue I had with math teachers/professors in the past.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't understand something, ask questions because if you don't understand one concept, it may be difficult for you to understand the next thing being taught.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend the course for Business majors only! It's definitely required for the major and it helps sharpen your math skills.

    Course highlights:

It's similar to College Algebra, so if you're good with Algebra then the class shouldn't be so hard. I learned a lot of Matrix, Factoring, Logarithm, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You've got to study! Do not think this is a math class where you can just do the homework and labs and understand everything. No! Repetition is key!
