Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved the list of works we read and it was a very manageable course.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write response papers and discussion posts, but most importantly learned to appreciate short stories.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the works assigned and turn in your work on time.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course constantly challenged me to think and experience novels in a completely different way. This course gave me an appreciation for writing as well as for reading. This course was very structured but overall fun to take.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course, I bettered my debate skills as well as my reasoning. Also, I was never much of a reader but now that I have taken this course, I can't stop reading. This course also tremendously bettered my writing skills and research skills.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When reading your novels, take time and make sure you highlight anything that you think is important or provides insight. Also, always come to class prepared and never forget to bring a scan from, even on the first day. Read and re-read the syllabus as well.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor made it very awful. I would dread going to that class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were when she took a sick day. I learned patience and to just accept what was being thrown at me.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Get a different professor, if available. If the only professor you can get is her, sit in the back and bring three pencils. She requires you have three on your desk.
