    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because if you read all of the readings, and work hard then you can obtain a good grade in this course.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course, I learned a lot about slavery and how racial ideologies are present in American literature. Also, I learned a lot about the authors of the books and the various literary periods, primarily from the founding of America to the civil war.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all of the readings, and make the essays at least a half a page longer than she requires because it is fairly easy to make a good grade on an essay if it is longer than she requires. (She argues that longer essays discuss more points on the subject at hand)

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy the textbook and read it every night! It comes in handy when you get twords the end of the class.
