Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Mayhew is an excellent man who clearly cares about the subject and his students. He constructs the class in a manner that is respectful yet serious.

    Course highlights:

His stories were for sure the best part of class. He is older, has been in the military, worked on the railroads. His stories are infinite! So much wisdom and experience.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to have homework! Not too much, but enough that it needs to be done weekly.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class was online and all the work except the test are available for students as soon as the class starts. The faster you go through the material the faster you can finish the class it goes at the pace of the student. There were 5 tests taken online and there were 2 chances of taking the tests. The class had videos to go along with the book.

    Course highlights:

History is what is learned but not what is learned but how it is learned there are many documentary type videos that are available to the students and the teacher is always available to help the students out.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take any free time you have to try and move on with the course, because it could begin to stack up on you

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Besides the fact that this class is pretty much a requirement for everyone, the material covered in this course really helps the learner come away with a good grasp and knowledge of the basic history of America and understanding of key figures/events.

    Course highlights:

I learned a great deal about Americas colonies and colonial life. this course was chapter heavy in this and the revolutionary time period which I found to be really interesting as to most Americans don't have a good understanding of what happened at the beginning of our country.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read, read, and read some more. Just like every history class, there is no way of getting around having to read in order to do well in this class. If you keep up with reading and weekly discussions, this class is really easy.
